Born in Manchester. 1938-39 Manchester College of Art.
1946-5O Royal College of Art. 1960 began teaching part
time BAA. 1965 first one-man exhibition ICA. 1967
Constructions Arts Council Tour. 1966-70 taught Chelsea
College of Art and 1968-82 Slade School of Art, Emeritus
Reader in Fine Art. University of London. 1969 co-founded
Systems Group. 1971 Four Artists: Reliefs, Constructions and
Drawings
V & A; 1972 Systems Whitechapel Art Gallery
(touring exhibition); one-man exhibition Lucy Milton Gallery.
