Martin Froy b. 1926 (BAA 1954-65) Born in London. Studied History at Magdalene College, Cambridge. 1944-47 RAF. 1949-51 Slade School of Art. 1951-54 Gregory Fellow in Painting, University of Leeds (exhibited in Gregory Memorial exhibitions). 1952 first one- man exhibition Hanover Gallery. 1953-58 Artist Consultant to City Architect Coventry; designed mural decorations Belgrade Theatre, Coventry. 1953-55 taught engraving Slade School of Art.
